So I thought I would do a little post here. I am going to talk about the Tranquility ATN, seeing as that is what I have been wearing for the last week or so.
So I have tried this diaper on several occasions and I was not very happy with it before now. The price is great where I get them and that is one of the reasons I bought them this time around. So usually when I get them I am very unhappy with the performance of the diaper. Usually they leak and hardly hold anything. But this time around has been totally different. I got them cause I needed some thing better than a store diaper but not as expensive as my usual diapers.
Well surprisingly these are holding at least 3 wettings. I have been able to use them at night and wake up to a dry bed. One of the things that is a big plus about the ATN is that it has the second chance tapes. I need these because I try to make it to the bathroom for number two's if I can. The tapes stick very well and even stick well a second or third time.
The ATN holds up well under a lot of movement. I work in a retail store, so once a week I have to do the truck. I am climbing bending down, moving things around. But this week they held up very well. I was amazed. The plastic however is NOT quiet at all. I feel like the whole world can hear my diaper. But most people do not notice it.
Absorbency wise it is about 75% of how I like my diaper to absorb. It does soak up quick when I wet. A big plus when you move all the time. The diaper does make it through the nigh unless I drink a ton of water. But I have only had one leak so far at night. When the ATN is wet it does not feel heavy as so many do when they get soaked. It is light and easy to move around in. One little thing that needs so attention, or maybe it is just me, is that when the diaper gets really wet, it tends to get pushed to the front and back of the diaper. So I end up with this space of almost no padding in between my legs. Not real fond of that. I put up with it though cause you will never have the perfect diaper.
The last thing I want to bring up is the smell and feel of the wet diaper. First off I have not noticed any smell. I can wake up in the morning soaked beyond belief, and there is no smell of stale urine in the air. I love that aspect of them. Also you feel pretty dry even once the diaper is wet. The ATN has a peach pad in it which is supposed to neutralize the pH in your urine and also cuts down on the smell. I will say this, IT WORKS GREAT!!! Most diapers I wear irritate my skin after a few wettings. I get itchy and frustrated when that happens. In the ATN I do not get that at all. I have not had any diaper rash since I started using these again.
So in conclusion. I really have been happy this time around with the Tranquility ATN diapers. They get a good score from me. If you are looking for a diaper that is better than the ones in the store but not as expensive as most high end diapers, then give the ATN a try. Also wanted to give a shout out to diginitywithdiapers.com They were very fast at shipping and they have great customer service. They have by far the best price for the ATN. They include shipping in the price for a case, and they are still the cheapest. So go check them out!
